The Caldwell Group Inc. has expanded its operations with the purchase of a 53,000-square-foot office and training center in Beloit, Wisconsin. The new facility, located on State Street, consolidates administrative teams and supports the company’s continued growth.
The material handling and lifting equipment manufacturer, which also operates two sites in Rockford, Illinois, has nearly doubled its workforce in the past year, growing from 120 to nearly 200 employees. The new location allows finance, sales, marketing and engineering staff to work under one roof, enhancing collaboration and efficiency.
Caldwell President and CEO Doug Stitt emphasized the move’s impact, saying, “It is going to allow us to grow our company, host sales and training events, and get our business team all under one roof. Because the building and everything in it were in such great shape, including conference rooms, we were able to move in right away. A number of people had asked us if we’d be in within six months and were shocked when we told them we were already in and operational.”
The facility will also serve as Caldwell’s primary training center, reinforcing the company’s commitment to professional development.
