According to Dave Brandsrud, equipment manager for Mowat Construction, the company has added the ZB32032 to its fleet for a multitude of reasons but mainly because it wanted to streamline its operations. Typical projects for the machine will include stripping falsework beams, various pile driving operations, and temporary bridge tressel erections and dismantles. With many bridge beams weighing 20,000 to 25,000 pounds, Brandsrud said even a 20,000-pound capacity Zoom Boom telehandler wasn't large enough to meet all of Mowat's needs.
As for where the big machine will be used first, Brandsrud said, “Three jobs are arguing over it already.” He added that plans call for the ZB32032 to be shared on construction projects at the
