Carolyn Harris Retires from Arnco

Arnco's Carolyn Harris retires after 31 years.

February 22, 2007 • Arnco, South Gate, Calif., supplier of polyurethane flat-proofing fill for off-road tires, has announced the retirement of Carolyn Harris, who had 31 years experience in the tire industry and served as Arnco's director of sales from 1992 to 2007.

 

Arnco President Larry Carapellotti said Mike Fullen would succeed Harris as national sales manager. He added that Harris would continue to work with Fullen

on the transition until July 1. Harris also has agreed to serve as a part-time consultant for Arnco following her retirement.


Harris began working in the tire industry in 1976, when she left the business machine field to join Russ Chandler & Associates as an industrial tire dealer sales representative. She served as sales manager for Sterling Industrial Tire Company from 1985-1986 and was vice president of sales for Synair Corporation for six years before joining Arnco as director of sales. A native of Cleveland, Tenn., she and her husband, James, have a grown daughter.

 

Fullen has more than 38 years of experience in the tire industry, including 14 years as owner of his own tire dealership. He joined Arnco as Northeast regional sales manager in 2000 and was given additional responsibility in November 2004 for administering Arnco University, the company's dealer education program. In March 2006, he was named product and sales training manager, with full-time responsibility for Arnco University and in-house training and support of the Arnco sales team. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Fullen earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. John's University and lives in Toms River, N.J.
