Cattron Fills Chinese Marketing and Sales Manager Position
August 8, 2008 • Cattron Group International, Sharpsville, Pa., announces Martin Chen will be the company's marketing and sales manager-China.
Reporting to Jim Robertson, executive director-business development for Cattron Group International, Chen is responsible for providing leadership and direction for all of Cattron's marketing and sales operations in China. He will be located at the Shanghai, China, affiliate office. Chen will develop new strategic business relationships, expand Cattron's distributor sales network in China by adding additional distributors and working directly with major key accounts within China.
According to Robertson, Chen is responsible for increasing Cattron's industrial, mining, and rail sales through existing and new OEM, dealer, and distributor channels. “In addition to expanding our sales network, Martin's responsibilities include providing leadership and direction for all our marketing and sales operations in China; developing new strategic business relationships, and working directly with major accounts within China,” he said.
Chen has more than 16 years experience in the industrial market and more than 12 years experience in sales and marketing. He holds a master's degree in business administration- managerial science and engineering from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo. He previously worked for U.S.- and German-based companies where he gained significant experience building distributor networks in China.
“China has great market potential for industrial wireless remote control products, and with CGI's support in bringing the latest technology and solutions to China, I will strive to steadily grow this business,” Chen said.
