Cattron General Manager Responsible for South American Sales

Laércio Neves
April 16, 2007 • Cattron Group International announced that Laércio Neves, general manager of Cattron-Theimeg Americas Ltd., will assume responsibility for managing the company's marketing and sales in South America.

Cattron officials indicated that the move is intended to take advantage of the company's Sao Paulo, Brazil-based operation and other South American markets with similar cultures and languages.

“Laercio's experience with our organization and language skills, [and his] background in electronics, maintenance management, marketing, and sales makes him uniquely suited for such a responsible and challenging position,” said Jim Robertson, Cattron Group International's senior vice president of marketing and sales-industrial.

Neves said he will be able to help new and existing distributors of Cattron remote control systems in South America, as well as increase market share and provide better product support. “The key factors will be language, Latin culture, geographic proximity, and shared experiences,” he said.

Neves, who was born and educated in Brazil, has degrees in electronic engineering and maintenance management. He has been with Cattron since 2003 and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
