April 2, 2009 – Crane Rental Corporation, Orlando, Fla., has announced the addition of three new members to its team.
Don Smyrk will take on the role of chief financial officer. He will be based at the Orlando headquarters and will oversee all financial functions for the company. Smyrk brings years of experience to CRC as a CPA and auditor, a former finance manager for Waste Management, and most recently as CFO for GE Transportation in Melbourne.
William “Bill†Hershner has been appointed national accounts/sales manager. Hershner brings more than 45 years of experience to the CRC sales team. Most recently, he was the sales manager for Kelly Tractor Co., a Link-Belt dealer based in Miami, Fla. Prior to Kelly, he worked directly for Link-Belt and at Galion Manufacturing as a district manager.
JR Nutting will be working in heavy haul and rigging sales. Based in the Davenport, Fla., branch, Nutting will focus on CRC’s heavy haul and rigging division. His extensive background includes positions at several respected Florida companies.
