Crane Rental Corp. Recognized for Its Safety Record

May 10, 2011—Crane Rental Corp., Orlando, Fla., has received several safety awards from several different organizations. Most recently, the company was recognized by the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) at its annual conference held in April 2011 for its superior safety record. The company was one of 27 members to receive the SC&RA Crane & Rigging Safety Award.

 

In February, the United Safety Council also recognized the company at its annual awards banquet. The awards included Safety Achievement; Fleet Safety; and Lost Time Achievement. The United Safety Council is a nationally recognized developer and distributor of world-class safety programs and training. In addition, the Associated Builders & Contractors has recognized Crane Rental Corp. over the years with its national level STEP Safety Awards.

 

Crane Rental Corp.’s current experience modification rate (EMR) is 0.69, a level far below the 1.0 EMR industry average. This rating is monitored by the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI).

 

According to the company, this superior safety rating coupled with a reputation of professionalism has enabled Crane Rental to be a qualified service provider for many of the nation’s preeminent construction and contracting companies in the heavy industrial and commercial sectors.
