Crane Rental Corp. Wins Six SC&RA Safety Awards

April 9, 2014 - The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) has announced that Crane Rental Corporation has won six safety awards.

 

In the Crane & Rigging Group, Crane Rental Corporation won the overall Safety Award, Safety Improvement Award, and Zero Accidents Award.

 

In the Transportation Group, Crane Rental Corporation won Best Safety Record in the 1.5 to 5 million mile category, Improvement Award, and Zero Accidents Award.

 

“We are honored to have our team’s commitment to safety recognized again this year by one of the leading associations in our industry,” said Alan Ashlock, company president. All of Crane Rental Corporation’s employees participate in a Safety Incentive Program (SIP). The program measures each employee's safe behavior and professionalism in several key categories.

 

“Our employees are thoroughly trained and work hard to keep our jobsites safe,” said Mike Smith, safety director for Crane Rental Corporation. “We are proud to receive recognition for their faithful effort.”

Crane Rental Corporation maintains an industry-leading 0.63 Experience Modification Rate (EMR), significantly better than the industry average of 1.0.

SC&RA will present the safety awards at the Crane & Rigging Group and Transportation Group Membership Meetings during their Annual Conference in Boca Raton, Florida on April 25 and 26, 2014.
