Crane Service Company Adds 496-U.S.-Ton Liebherr All-Terrain Crane
The new Liebherr expands the Crane Service’s ability to meet the lifting needs of customers who work in new construction, the mechanical service industry, and other applications.
Crane Service based its decision to buy the LTM 1450-8.1 on the crane’s most prominent features, such as boom length, engineering quality, and the ability to work a demanding schedule with minimal maintenance.
The company currently owns six Liebherr cranes. The addition of the LTM 1450 8.1 will be their seventh and will support the performance their current Liebherr cranes.
Brian Mazzella, vice president of Crane Service Company Inc., said, “The 1450 offers outstanding safety features combined with roadability, expedited erection and disassembly, and extended tip heights combined with a small footprint in a highly competitive market.”
Crane Service Company, Inc. is a fourth-generation family-owned business established in 1926. The company has been serving Washington, D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, for more than 90 years.
