Cropac Places $6 Million Crane Order with Manitex

September 27, 2006 • Manitex, Georgetown, Texas, has received a substantial crane order for 2007 from Cropac Equipment, a Manitex boom truck dealer and crane service company in eastern Canada. According to a news release, Cropac is anticipating a brisk market for the coming year and is positioning itself to service customers with a ready supply of cranes.

The $6 million order is for 54 cranes that range between 26 to 38 tons and includes heavy lift and wireline models. Manitex will begin shipping the machines to Cropac Equipment in the first quarter of 2007.
