CRW Celebrates 50-Year Milestone
March 18, 2011 – Woods CRW Corp., Williston, Vt., celebrates its 50th anniversary in the construction industry.
CRW Corp. opened its doors as Wood’s Construction Equipment and Supplies in South Burlington, Vt. Charles R. “Bob” Wood, Sr., founded the company as a general line equipment house providing contractors with heavy construction equipment, supplies, parts, and service. It is now owned and operated, by his sons, Chris Palmer and Bobby Wood.
Since its inception, CRW Corp. opened a branch office in Worcester, Mass., in 1998, built a state-of-the-art headquarters facility in Williston, Vt., in 2000, and opened a second branch office in Syracuse, N.Y., in 2004. Today the dealership provides equipment solutions for customers primarily located in Vermont, New England, New York and Eastern Canada. Used equipment is sold worldwide.
CRW Corp. is an authorized distributor for Link-Belt Cranes, Volvo Construction Equipment, Terex-ASV, National Cranes, Tadano boom trucks, Genie/Terex telehandlers, and Shuttlelift industrial cranes.
