C&S Acquires JPW Crane and Rigging Assets

September 8, 2008 • C&S Companies, Syracuse, N.Y., has purchased all assets associated with JPW Riggers' daily crane rental and rigging services division, including two 90-ton cranes, one 50-ton crane, one 35-ton crane, one 15-ton crane, 12 forklifts with capabilities ranging from 2 to 15 tons, and other various rigging and specialty equipment. JPW made the decision so it could better focus on its rapidly growing markets for large cranes (200-ton capacity and over) and windmill construction and maintenance.

JPW's affiliate, JPW Structural Contracting, will continue to operate as a premier structural steel fabricator and erector, being the only company in upstate New York with AISC certifications in Fabrication of Complex Steel Structures and Advanced Steel Erection.

 

C&S is an architecture, engineering, planning, construction management, and construction company.
