Doleco USA has introduced the DoRa Gen 2 Ratcheting Load Binder, designed to improve speed and safety for flatbed operators and heavy equipment transporters.
The updated binder features re-engineered threading that advances the spindle four millimeters per turn, compared to three on the original version. This change delivers 33% faster tensioning and de-tensioning, reducing the time and physical effort needed for load securement.
“If you’re going to invest in load binders for your securing needs, the DoRa Gen 2 delivers capabilities that no other manually operated binder can match,” said Ralph Abato, president and managing director of Doleco USA. “It performs all the functions of a standard load binder while offering our patented telescopic design that provides both the industry’s most compact form factor and longest extension range.”
The Gen 2 also incorporates patent-pending safety improvements. Visual indicators alert operators as the spindle nears maximum extension, while a mechanical lock prevents unscrewing. The system is designed to eliminate the risk of spindle separation, bent components and unsafe field reassembly.
For crane and rigging applications, the binder’s compact retracted size and extended reach allow securement in tight spaces and over long distances, minimizing the need to reset chains during inspections.
