Eagle West Adds Two Crane Dealers

April 1, 2009 – Eagle West Equipment Inc., Abbotsford, British Columbia, has entered into dealership agreements with Snell Crane Service of Olympia, Wash., and Specialty Crane & Rigging, Santa Barbara, Calif.

Both Snell and Specialty Crane will represent the entire Eagle West Equipment Inc. product line including San Marco self-erecting cranes, city cranes and tower cranes; Koenig self-erecting cranes; Wilbert tower cranes; BOSCARO and HMT crane and material handling accessories; and Magnum generators and tower light systems.

With offices in Olympia, Tacoma and Longview, Wash., Snell has an extensive background in all forms of crane services and has been appointed the Pacific Northwest region, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. “I have been looking into ways to diversify my company and to set it apart from my competitors,” said Eric Snell, owner of Snell Crane Service. “I needed to bring new and cost effective options to my customers lifting and hoisting needs.”

“We are very pleased to have Snell Crane Service to join our dealership network,” said Gerry Wiebe, vice president of sales and business development for Eagle West Equipment. “Their many years of experience and reputation for superior service will no doubt continue as they introduce our product lines to the Pacific Northwest region.”

Specialty Crane & Rigging will exclusively represent Eagle West in central California. Specialty Crane & Rigging was established in 1984 to service the central California marketplace and now has offices/yards in Santa Barbra, Santa Maria and Paso Robles, Calif.

“As construction costs continue to rise, we are looking for ways to provide our customers with more competitive methods of material placement,” said Seth Hammond, president and owner of Specialty Crane & Rigging. “In my opinion, the mobile tower crane is just that tool, and Eagle West Equipment has a dealer network with product support that covers the whole range of tower cranes.”
