Elliott Equipment to Show Crawler-mounted Boom Truck

January 24, 2011—Elliott Equipment Co., Omaha, Neb., will introduce the 34127R boom truck mounted on a 15SXW-HF PowerTraxx vehicle at ConExpo/Con-Agg in Las Vegas, Nev., March 22-26, 2011. The 34-ton crane features a rear-mounted 127-foot boom. Designed with utility companies in mind, this crane is intended for off-road utility work. The 34127R is the largest tracked boom truck ever mounted by Elliott, with a maximum tip height of 137 feet and a jib/platform option with a maximum platform height of 186 feet. The 275 hp PowerTraxx tracked chassis has two sets of 40-inch wide D-dent tracks and a hydrostatic drive system. The enclosed crane cab features heat and A/C.

 

Other features include a 12,800-pound bare drum pull boom winch, and an optional 30,000-pound low-mount recovery winch. The 600-pound capacity jib is gravity leveled and measures 40"x60". Inside the platform are four-function remote controls and a hydraulic tool circuit. The crane will be on display in the Gold Lot, booth #180.
