Elliott Set to Unveil New Boom Truck at ConExpo
February 9, 2011
–
Elliott Equipment
Co.,
Omaha, Neb., announced its plans to unveil a new 36127F front-mounted boom truck
at ConExpo in Las Vegas, Nev.
The 36127F’s design
provides 72,000 pounds of lifting capacity at a 5-foot radius and a maximum tip
height of 137-feet. It will feature Elliott’s exclusive and popular ride-around
control console and smooth thumb throttle to give crane operators the smoothest
operation available.
The standard 36127F
boom truck will carry an aluminum bed with wings, a 34’5†retracted to 127 feet
extended five-section boom, an internal anti-two block system, and an LMI. The
standard out-and-down style outriggers will offer mid and full span load charts
with a 21-footmaximum spread. Buyers who need additional reach can purchase an
optional 32-foot to 49-foot two-piece jib with manual extension that stows
alongside the boom.
Elliott plans to
offer a list of optional accessories including a two-person gravity leveled
basket, five-function radio remote controls, and much
more.
Elliott’s decision to
release this new boom truck product reflects the increasing demands of
construction and utility industry professionals for more lifting capacity and
longer boom lengths. The 36127F fills a void in Elliott’s boom truck line
between the 32-ton and 40-ton models, giving customers even more options for
their businesses.
