June 18, 2026 - Engineered Rigging has announced the addition of two summer interns as part of its ongoing efforts to support workforce development in the heavy lifting and specialized transport industry.

The company named Logan Farley, a mechanical engineering student at Arkansas Tech University, and Michael Gjorseski, a business analytics student at Purdue University, as its 2026 summer interns. Engineered Rigging offers internship opportunities during the summer, fall and spring semesters to provide students with hands-on industry experience.

According to the company, internships are one component of its talent development strategy, which also includes an annual scholarship program and recruiting recent graduates for full-time positions.

“There is a global shortage of skilled talent in the heavy lifting industry, and Engineered Rigging is committed to doing our part to address it,” said Christopher Cox, P.E., founder and president of Engineered Rigging. “Our internships, scholarships and campus recruiting efforts not only foster skills development but serve as an introduction to rewarding careers in our industry.”

In addition to its internship program, Engineered Giving, a nonprofit foundation established by Engineered Rigging, is accepting applications for a $3,000 educational scholarship. Eligible applicants must be pursuing an engineering degree, technical training or skills certification in Indiana or Arkansas. The application deadline is June 30.

The company also reported that it hired four graduates from Trine University and Arkansas Tech University during the past year. Those hires now serve in engineering and project management roles.

Engineered Rigging said it maintains relationships with colleges and universities throughout its operating regions as part of its broader recruiting and workforce development efforts.

Founded in Valparaiso, Indiana, Engineered Rigging provides heavy rigging, machinery moving and specialized transport solutions for industrial projects worldwide.
