Expanded iCraneTrax Makes Fleet Management More Efficient
January 7, 2019 - A1A Software LLC, Fernandina Beach, Florida, continues to expand features of iCraneTrax to make the fleet- and personnel-management software more robust for equipment rental companies.
“iCraneTrax combines sales, dispatch, and fleet maintenance with telematics into one application to more efficiently manage rental company daily operations and increase revenue,” said Tawnia Weiss, president of A1A Software LLC.
iCraneTrax captures complex data from the most sophisticated crane and lifting equipment, then combines various business communications into one tool to improve coordination and communication between sales people, dispatchers, operators, managers, and mechanics.
Quote proposals, service agreements, and dispatch tickets can now be customized. That gives users control over which fields to display in the job information, job description, and header sections of printouts. For example, terms and conditions can now be added to the service agreement.
“Two new reports will make life easier for sales people and project managers,” said Weiss. “The new job pipeline report displays all upcoming jobs and their quote amounts, while the new map report displays appointment, customer, and job locations on a map.” In addition, the name of the person who scheduled an appointment can now be added to customer call reports.
The time block feature lets users assign equipment and personnel for a designated period, helps with payroll, and provides more accurate information about equipment that’s available to rent.
Default time blocks can now be created for standard uses, such as labor or equipment runtime. That makes data entry more efficient. Also, users now can specify typical workdays on crane utilization reports. Plus, time blocks can be displayed in job notification emails and can be added to dispatch tickets.
“iCraneTrax is entirely customizable, which increases operational efficiencies, productivity, and profits for equipment rental companies,” said Weiss. “Because it’s web-based, the application is accessible from multiple branches and mobile devices.”
Subscriptions for iCraneTrax start at $1,250 for five users.
