Fluor Joins OSHA's VPP Corporate Pilot Program

The VPP Corporate Pilot is designed to recognize companies and organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to employee safety, health and VPP. The corporate pilot designees have established standardized corporate-level safety and health management systems that are effectively implemented organization-wide as well as internal audit and screening processes that evaluate their facilities for safety and health performance.

Launched in May 2004, the primary goal of the VPP Corporate Pilot is to streamline the application and onsite evaluation processes for organizations that are committed to VPP. The VPP onsite evaluation team noted that Fluor demonstrates a culture of safety and health through all levels of the organization. The company also utilizes a web-based network of moderated forums to disseminate information and answer questions related to safety and health.
