FMI's Construction Program Calendar Now Available

July 10, 2008 • FMI, Raleigh, N.C., a leading management consulting and investment banking firm for the worldwide building and construction industry, has unveiled its 2008-09 schedule of programs and workshops. FMI offers courses designed to deliver practical solutions for leading and managing construction companies. FMI offers courses on a full range of topics specifically designed for the building and construction industry.

This year's line up includes 15 programs, including business development, contractor selling skills, marketing and selling strategies, contractor compensation and rewards, leadership and more.

"With the growing exodus of the retiring baby boom generation, the demand for management and leadership training has never been greater," said Ken Wilson, director of talent development at FMI.

According to Kelley Chisholm, talent development consultant at FMI, in order to remain sustainable and successful in the knowledge-based, global economy of the industry, construction companies must invest in their human capital.

The programs and workshops range in length from two to four days. Each program is designed for individuals to sharpen their knowledge and skills, stay informed of industry trends and leave with applicable and valuable tools and techniques all while interacting with, and learning from, industry peers.
