Gallagher Promotes Boots to National Crane Director

Sept. 27, 2023 - Cameron Boots has been promoted to national crane director at Gallagher Crane & Rigging Insurance (formerly Allied Insurance Brokers), an insurer that currently serves about 280 crane, rigging, and heavy-haul companies.

Before his promotion, Boots was vice president of the company’s crane and rigging area since May 2016.

In his expanded role, Boots retains his existing responsibilities while also building the claims and risk-resources team’s capability through team education and the harnessing of data power.

In addition, Boots produces Beer & Boots, a YouTube podcast about risk management, which he co-hosts with his Gallagher colleague Landin Beer.

Boots is also an SC&RA preferred producer, a past president of the American Society of Safety Professionals, and secretary of the Florida Crane Owners Council.
