General Crane USA Hires Al Bove

September 26, 2007 • General Crane USA, Pompano Beach, Fla., recently named Al Bove as its vice president and director of crane operations. Bove has a 40-year history in the crane industry; most recently he served as the CEO of Maxim Crane Works.

Bove was raised in the western Pennsylvania coal fields and grew up operating heavy equipment. He worked his way up from crane operator to managing and directing 40 crane rental depots in the United States and the Virgin Islands.

 

In his career, Bove's focus has been on operator training and certification, as well as customer service and problem solving. His coast-to-coast experience in planning, developing, implementing, and integrating crane companies makes his name synonymous with the crane rental industry.
