Genie Offers Online Parts Ordering

July 7, 2008 • As part of its commitment to provide customers with service and support, Redmond, Wash.-based Genie Industries today launched an online parts ordering system in North America, designed to increase ordering accuracy and customers' productivity. Used in conjunction with Genie's Serial Number Smart Parts Lookup System, customers will now be able to identify a part, add it to the virtual pick list, then roll the pick list directly into an online order.

Earlier this year, Genie launched the online Serial Number Smart Parts Lookup System, a user-friendly website with intuitive search functions that gives customers the parts listings they need, without having to download and navigate through .pdf files. This system can be accessed by customers through the Genie website at www.genieindustries.com.

“The online Serial Number Smart Parts Lookup System is updated on a regular basis to provide the most accurate parts information possible to our customers,” said Bob Sartini, regional service parts manager for Genie. “By adding the online ordering function to the system, our goal is to help our customers become more productive with their work by spending less time ordering parts.”

Genie customers with a registered account can access the system, look up and order parts for various Genie products that currently include telescoping and articulating booms, scissor lifts, portable personnel lifts, material lifts, telehandlers produced in North America, as well as Terex light towers and generators.
