Guardian and Twiceme Expand Digital Safety into SRLs
Guardian and Twiceme expand digital safety integration into self-retracting lifelines for 2026.
Guardian and Twiceme Technology have expanded their partnership to integrate Twiceme’s digital safety technology into Guardian anchor-mounted self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), marking what the companies describe as a first for the fall protection industry. The Twiceme-enabled SRLs are expected to be available in spring 2026.
The integration builds on Twiceme’s existing presence in Guardian’s B7-Comfort harness and will extend across 10 Guardian SRL models. SRLs are a critical component of a personal fall arrest system (PFAS), functioning as the connecting device that allows worker movement while engaging braking mechanisms during a fall.
“Integrating Twiceme into our SRLs is a natural next step in our mission to elevate safety across every stage of work at height, as SRLs are a critical line of defense in a fall protection – whether that’s arresting a fall or keeping workers restrained from the edge,” said Sean Wirth, Sr. product manager, Guardian. “Our ongoing partnership with Twiceme across harnesses and other fall-protection systems has already proven the value of connected safety and digital asset management, and now we’re proud to innovate and deliver the first-ever Twiceme-enabled SRLs.”
Twiceme-enabled Guardian SRLs range from 16 to 65 feet and are designed to provide extended working distances while stopping the user from hitting the ground or next level during a fall. With the integration, organizations can access Twiceme’s safety management portal, which includes equipment inspection records, work documentation and Medical ID information intended to assist first responders during rescue operations.
The first Guardian SRL models to feature Twiceme include the Halo Cable Class 1 SRL, Halo Edge Class 2 SRLs, Diablo Big Block LE Cable Class 2 SRL, 3-Way Rescue & Retrieval SRL, Velocity Class 1 Cable SRL, Velocity-Edge SRL, CR3 SRL (33-feet) and CR3-Edge SRL (33-foot galvanized steel).
“Guardian has been instrumental in bringing Twiceme’s technology to the front lines of fall safety,” said Christian Connolly, CEO, Twiceme Technology. “By integrating into their self-retracting lifelines, we’re helping companies and individuals ensure their equipment is functioning as it should and closing a critical information gap during fall incidents. This builds on our successful collaboration and marks another step toward a future where life-saving information is always available, exactly when it’s needed.”
The Twiceme-integrated Guardian SRLs will be displayed at World of Concrete 2026 in Las Vegas.
