Haulotte Appoints Head of UK Subsidiary

June 15, 2007 • Philip James has joined Haulotte Group as U.K. subsidiary manager. In this role, he will report to Pierrick Lourdain, Western area manager, and will have the assignment to define the sales strategy and implement the complete Haulotte product and service package in the U.K. and Ireland, which includes the complete range of aerial work platforms, the HTL range of telehandlers, and the Multijob range full-rotating backhoe loader.

Previously the strategic sales director of Europe for Akzo Nobel, the world's largest coatings company, James' expertise is in managing sales, marketing and service oriented businesses. He has managed businesses in Europe and North America and has been involved in number of acquisitions in both manufacturing and distribution.

 

Reinforcing its position as the third largest worldwide aerial work platform manufacturer, the Haulotte Group will provide its financial results for the first half of 2007 on July 25. In 2006, the company reported a turnover of more than $693.9 million (€ 519.3 million).

 

Haulotte Group has 18 subsidiaries worldwide and has opened two new plants this year in Spain and Romania, which join three existing plants in France.
