August 5, 2008 • Following the recent acquisition, Haulotte Group's chief operating officer, Alexandre Saubot, addressed Bil-Jax employees and stressed opportunity to be the most important factor in the success of the new joint operations.

“We will be offering more opportunity,” said Saubot. “The future is the most important thing at the moment, and we will get there by offering more opportunity to everyone.”

The newly formed synergy anticipates a full integration by the end of 2008.

“The common goal is to be successful,” said Jeff Ott, CEO of Bil-Jax, Archbold, Ohio.

Both Ott and Saubot spoke optimistically about the future of the companies.

“With the people of Haulotte and the people at Bil-Jax, I am convinced that we will be the best,” said Saubot.

Haulotte Group announced in July the acquisition of the U.S. manufacturer Bil-Jax. The two companies released a statement in the official press release:

“The global access market is highly competitive and growing at a fast pace. The resulting benefits of scale along with associated capital costs for product line expansion contribute to a time of industry consolidation and convergence. Today, this market is increasingly dominated by three players. Together, Haulotte and Bil-Jax will offer a competitive choice and better fulfill the needs of customers and partners.”

“This acquisition will assist us to further develop our business,” said Saubot.

Haulotte Group is a publicly traded company on the Euronext Paris securities market.
