May 30, 2006 — A long-standing goal for the Haulotte Group, Baltimore, Md., has been to increase its presence in the North American market. In the past few years, it has established a North American subsidiary, broadened its product offerings, and expanded its presence on the West Coast. But the company is not stopping there.
Exclusive to LiftandAccess.com, the Haulotte Group reported it will be opening support centers in Atlanta, Ga., by July, and Chicago, Ill., by October. According to Haulotte, these locations initially will have a field service representative as well as parts and machine inventory. Following the opening of these facilities, the company will set up another support center in Houston, Texas, early next year.
In addition to opening these support centers, Haulotte also plans to substantially expand its parts inventory at its Rialto, Calif., location.
