Haulotte Opens Factory in Spain

May 14, 2007 • Haulotte Group recently opened a new factory in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, in March. Pierre Saubot and Alexandre Saubot, chairman and CEO of Haulotte Group, respectively, welcomed government officials of Cantabria and the surrounding areas for the inauguration of the new factory.

 

For Haulotte Group, the factory is part of the company's development and product diversification. According to Pierre Saubot, the geographic location is a strategic point for the company's development. Other reasons for choosing the Cantabria area were the communication network and the infrastructure, like the harbor of Santander, and the proximity of several international airports.

 

Haulotte Group continues its development by reinforcing its production capacity with the opening of new manufacturing units in Spain and Romania and diversifying its products with the new range of telehandlers and the full rotating backhoe loader Multijob MJX 900. Haulotte Cantabria manufactures the new telehandler HTL and the full rotating backhoe-loader Multijob MJX.
