December 20, 2006 • The Haulotte Group, L'Horme, France, recently opened a regional support center in Kennesaw, Ga., its third facility in North America. The company said it also plans to add two more support centers in Chicago, Ill., and Houston, Texas, in the first quarter of 2007.

“The addition of regional service managers in strategic locations across North America will address the needs of our growing market,” said Chris Koch, general manager of Haulotte U.S., Inc. “We will continue to add additional resources as required to further enhance our support capabilities.”

As a part of the Haulotte Services global support policy, Haulotte's new support facilities will have the same goal: To meet customers' full service expectations. The service policy extends from maintenance to full service, vastly improved spare parts availability, and training programs specific to each customer.

In other company news, Haulotte will be presenting its 135-foot HB 135 JRT telescopic boom lift, the 130-foot HA 130 JRT articulating boom lift, and a new trailer-mounted platform range, the Haulotte DI, to the North American market at The Rental Show in February. The big boom lifts provide continuous control of movements and slopes ; fully proportional, simulataneous controls for more accuracy annd smoothness ; and four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering.

The Haulotte DI range of trailer-mounted aerials is the result of a distribution agreement with Finnish maufacurer Dino Lift, and includes the 46-foot Haulotte DI 46A, 53-foot Haulotte DI 53A, and the 63-foot Haulotte DI 63A.

Also at The Rental Show, Haulotte has donated an 19-foot Optimum 1930E electric scissor lift to the ARA Foundation's live auction, which will conclude on Thursday, February 8, the first day of the tradeshow.
