Haulotte Reports More than One-Third Increase in First Quarter Sales

April 18, 2007 - The Haulotte Group, L'Horme, France, reported a 37 percent sales increase in the first quarter of 2007 from the same time last year. Haulotte's turnover stood at $195.7 million, compared to sales of $149.9 million in Q1 2006.

Geographic and sector-based spread of sales reported no significant changes from the first quarter of 2006, with Europe representing 91 percent of consolidated turnover, and machines were 84 percent of the company's sales.

Because of buoyant activity in the first quarter and a 50 percent rise in orders at the end of March, the Haulotte Group also revised its annual forecasts to an expected turnover increase of 20 to 25 percent in 2007.
