Haulotte Wins ASMEP's Prize of Excellence

March 23, 2007 • The Haulotte Group, L'Horme, France, is the winner of the 2007 Prize of Excellence for economic performance, awarded by ASMEP (Association of Patrimonial Medium-Sized Companies), under the supervision of Christian Poncelet, president of the French Senate.

Haulotte received the prize yesterday from Luc Darbonne, president of Daregal and chairman of FBN-France, in the presence of Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former French prime Minister and senator.

Created by ASMEP, in partnership with Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Co., the “great prize of the patrimonial company” aims to develop the patrimonial companies whose history, products, behavior, and leaders correspond most to the expectations of the French and the economic and social challenges France faces in Europe and in the world.

The prize also aims to show that the patrimonial companies take part in the creation of wealth and employment for the future of France, and that continuity is the backbone of development and stability in France.

The award panel, which chose Haulotte as its winner, included Yvon Gattaz, president of ASMEP; Thierry Lombard, senior associate of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Co.; Elisabeth Ducottet of Thuasne; and the managers of various other French companies.

The Haulotte Group also reported an increases sales turnover of 34 percent in 2006. The Group will publish its annual results on March 28.
