H&E Equipment Services Combines Maryland Branches

December 31, 2014 - H&E Equipment Services Inc. reports it has consolidated its branches in Baltimore and Jessup, Md., into one newly constructed facility in Dundalk, Md. The store will serve customers in Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C.

 

The new, larger branch has 40,000 sq. ft. of office and shop space on 15 acres of property. To better serve customers, new, used, and rental equipment inventories have been expanded. In addition, a portion of the building has been devoted to product support with 18 service bays and a 9,000 sq.-ft. parts warehouse.

 

The branch specializes in heavy earthmoving equipment, cranes, aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, and general construction equipment. Products will be offered from the following manufacturers: Atlas Copco, Doosan, Diamond Z, Genie, Gradall, Grove, JLG, Magnum, Manitowoc, Multiquip, National Crane, Skyjack, Skytrak, Takeuchi, Wacker Neuson, Yanmar, and others.

 

“Due to growth, and the close proximity of our prior stores, it made a lot of operational sense to combine these two locations into one store," said Michael Criswell, H&E Baltimore branch manager. "Our new facility is more centralized to a majority of our business and more convenient to most of our customers."
