H&E opens Savannah, Ga., branch. |
March 8, 2016 – Baton Rouge, La.-based H&E Equipment Services Inc. (H&E), has opened a new branch in Savannah, Ga., joining neighboring branches in Atlanta; Charleston, S.C.; and Jacksonville, Fla., for a total of 77 branches nationwide.
The new branch will provide full-service coverage to customers in eastern Georgia and southern South Carolina. The 12,500-sq.-ft. facility sits on 3 acres with a fully-fenced and paved yard area, offices, parts warehouse, and a three-bay repair shop. The facility is capable of repairing a variety of general industrial and construction equipment.
“With economic recovery and growth in the industrial, tourism, port authority, and military sectors, we see tremendous opportunity to serve equipment customers in Savannah,” explained Joseph Sheffield, Savannah branch manager. “This is our first step, but we have plans to move forward with a large design-build facility within the next two years.”
