H&E Relocates to New Facility in San Antonio

September 16, 2015 - This week, H&E Equipment Services Inc.’s operation in San Antonio relocated to its newly-constructed facility.

 

The 26,535-sq.-ft. facility sits on 6.5 acres, with office space, a parts warehouse, large yard area and a 12-bay repair shop that includes two, five-ton overhead cranes. The facility is capable of repairing a variety of machines from compact construction equipment to large earthmoving units.

 

The H&E San Antonio branch specializes in aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, some large and compact earthmoving equipment and general construction equipment.  The branch offers a variety of products from manufacturers such as:  Atlas Copco, Gehl, Genie, JLG, Lincoln, Magnum, Miller, Multiquip, Okada, Skytrak, Skyjack, Takeuchi, Wacker, Yanmar, and others. 

 

“The enhanced capabilities of this new, much larger, facility will help us deliver even better service to our valuable customers. Just the sheer increased size of the building, shop and yard alone will provide tremendous improvements in safety and operational efficiencies,” said Ed Allan, San Antonio branch manager. “The shop, with its new tooling and large overhead cranes, will improve turnaround times on repairs and make us more cost competitive. The larger yard will allow us to expand and diversify our fleet of aerial lifts, forklifts, and general construction products, along with growing our earthmoving line.”

 

In addition to equipment rentals, the San Antonio facility provides new and used equipment sales, in-shop and mobile service, a comprehensive parts inventory, training and other value-added services.
