The iFLEX2 mobile controller is designed for use in harsh environments.
Featuring an integrated Floating Point Unit (FPU), a real-time multitasking operating system, and a 32-bit microcontroller technology, iFLEX2 meets the requirements for a high performance, universal controller. In addition, this IP65 system is designed for temperatures ranging between -22° and 167° (-30° to 75° C) and offers a very high EMC and vibration resistance.
Information from conventional sensors and actuators can be processed by digital and analog inputs/outputs on the device. Since these inputs/outputs are individually configurable, they can be changed to fit the application. Proportional valves can be operated without additional amplifiers via PWM outputs with internal current measurement. In addition to the standard CANopen interfaces, iFLEX2 also offers the possibility of transmitting motor data in accordance with SAE J 1939.
The iFLEX2 uses the same software tools as other systems in the iFLEX family for programming, configuration, and diagnostics, which enables the application software to be written in C or PLC programming language, according to IEC 61131-3. The user can choose between Instruction List, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, and Ladder Diagram.
