When the application demands precise handling and placement of palletized or stacked material — even in tight places — contractors need loaders that maximize efficiency. Iowa Mold Tooling Co. Inc. (IMT) recently introduced the IMT 28562 hydraulic loader, offering customers another option for efficient handling of wallboard, brick, block, glass and other goods that support the construction industry.
The new IMT 28562 hydraulic loader offers:
- The highest rating in the IMT lineup at 161,490 foot-pounds.
- A maximum lift capacity of 5,700 pounds.
- Up to 62 feet 3 inches of horizontal reach.
- A maximum vertical reach of 71 feet 4 inches.
- A high lift-to-weight ratio allows for maximum payload on the truck.
“At IMT, we’re committed to helping our customers become more productive,” says John Field, IMT product manager of material handling. “The IMT 28562 hydraulic loader has the strength, reach and precision maneuverability our customers need to quickly load and unload building materials.”
The IMT 28562 loader also includes a standard RCL (rated capacity limiter) 5300 system, which blocks load-increasing functions when full capacity is reached. The loader’s standard radio remote control comes equipped with an information center that provides continuous feedback on load moment and operation conditions.
Additional features of the new IMT 28562 loader include:
- A 22-foot hydraulic out-and-down stabilizer span, which provides excellent stability.
- 420-degree rack and pinion rotation.
- A rotation system that operates in a continuous oil bath to reduce friction and enhance life.
- A standard oil cooler to extend hydraulic system longevity.
- A counterbalance valve on each cylinder to stop motion in case of a hose failure.
The IMT hydraulic loader lineup enables customers to match equipment to their unique material handling needs. The IMT lineup also includes the IMT 16000 and IMT 24562 models. Watch an IMT hydraulic loader at work on the IMT YouTube page.
