September 8, 21015 - David Oswalt and his team at J.E. Oswalt & Sons, Batesburg, S.C., can now handle big jobs with a THP/SL heavy-duty modular system from Goldhofer—plus the necessary accessories like intermediate decks, trailers packages, and gooseneck. Oswalt, grandson of the 85-year-old company’s founder Julian Earl Oswalt Sr., was so impressed by the debut of his first 10 Goldhofer axle lines that he quickly placed a follow-up order.
“We handle jobs for several of the world’s biggest conglomerates in the energy industry. So we obviously need the best transport equipment available on the market today; there is no room for compromise,” says David Oswalt, who sees a twin benefit from his partnership with Goldhofer. “With Goldhofer’s high-end systems, we can guarantee professional, precise, safe and fast handling of our customers’ jobs, and at the same time enhance our image as professional partners for heavy haulage and lift and rigging operations.”
The people at Goldhofer in Memmingen, Germany, are also very pleased with the new partnership: “We are delighted that J.E. Oswalt has taken the big step. That is a signal to the whole transport industry in North America,” says Stefan Fuchs, CEO of Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft.
