July 3, 2006 — Crane rental company JF Lomma, South Kearney, N.J., recently purchased six new Manitowoc crawler cranes: three 330-ton Model 2250s, two 440-ton Model 16000s, and a 660-ton Model 18000. All cranes were purchased as complete packages with luffing jibs included.
JF Lomma specializes in supplying crane and heavy hauling solutions to construction projects throughout the Northeast and the New York City metro area. The company's machines are mostly engaged in steel erection for heavy construction, such as power plants and stadiums. The new crawler cranes have all been assigned projects in the coming months, and a Potain tower crane is also on order for Lomma. Delivery of the new machines will begin in September.
