JLG Enhances Aftermarket Programs in Mexico, Latin America

May 30, 2008 • JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, Pa., has established a new parts distributor for Mexico and a component rebuild program for Latin America

JLG has selected Monterrey, Mexico-based Aerial Parts, a subsidiary of Grupo Ventumex, as its master parts distributor to provide local aftermarket parts support in Northern and Central Mexico. This partnership is a key component of JLG's strategy to provide a full spectrum of aftermarket parts support for its customers around the world. Aerial Parts will stock a full inventory of parts to support JLG customers providing faster, more economical service.

JLG has also established an electrical component rebuild program in Mexico to offer life-cycle enhancing services for its customers throughout Latin America. The program will specialize in rebuilding controllers and joysticks. JLG customers will experience reduced replacement costs and receive high-quality components backed with a one-year warranty.

“These new partnerships allow JLG to enhance its responsiveness and effectiveness, thus reducing downtime, decreasing operating costs, and increasing uptime for our customers,” said Chris Mellott, JLG vice president of customer assurance. “Our growth in Mexico and Latin America has been strong, and we are proud to have a valuable partner with Grupo Ventumex on the JLG team.”
