JLG Names VP Government Products
May 30, 2008 • McConnellsburg, Pa.-based JLG Industries, recently promoted Denny Buterbaugh to vice president of government products and programs for the company. For the past 14 years, Buterbaugh has worked in government sales and programs, most recently as the director of government sales.
In this position, Buterbaugh will oversee and direct all activities within the government and military departments. His experience and insight are important as JLG continues to support the government through product sales and a full range product life cycle services, the company said.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Buterbaugh has worked at JLG for 30 years, during which time he has held positions of increasing responsibility. He began his career in manufacturing, moving then to safety where he became the corporate safety manager. In 1994, he became the manager of government sales.
“Denny will maintain focus on current contract awards and ensure JLG delivers high levels of customer satisfaction to our many valued military and government customers,” said Tim Morris, vice president of North American market development and sales. “JLG is fortunate to have Denny in this role with his intimate knowledge of the government and military contract business as well as his long history with JLG and access equipment.”
