JLG Opens ServicePLUS in Southeast, More Expansions Planned

October 20, 2006 • JLG Industries, Inc., McConnellsburg, Pa., announced the grand opening of its third ServicePLUS® location in Kennesaw, Ga. Joining the Houston, Texas, and the McConnellsburg, Pa., service centers, the new ServicePLUS facility will serve customers in the Southeast region. This latest expansion supports the company's long-term strategy to enlarge its after-market business, including providing equipment repair, maintenance and reconditioning, equipment inspections, mobile service, and training on all JLG manufactured products, as well as those of competing manufacturers.

 

JLG also reported it anticipates opening two additional locations in the future to support its strategy to generate at least 35% of consolidated operating profit from activities other than new machine sales.
