April 22, 2015 - Kar-Tech has introduced two transmitters: the Quantum belly-pack series and the Cadet pistol-grip transmitters. Both series have all-sealed, ARM-powered SMT electronics with an optional on-board accelerometer and haptic feedback. The all-weather housing is made from a polypropylene copolymer, allowing them to work in any temperature.
The Quantum transmitter series is the smallest belly-pack in Kar-Tech product catalog. Designed for OEM use, It is available for equipment that only needs about six toggle switches or a couple joysticks. A protective lip around the controls protects theswitches and joysticks from accidental operaiton.
Kar-Tech’s Cadet transmitter series rounds out the company's pistol-grip line of products with a small, heavy-duty enclosure for simple boom control and other industrial remote control applications that benefit from its hall-effect proportional trigger for speed control or deadman functionality.
The CADET is molded from a polypropylene copolymer that is shatter resistant in extended temperatures. Most Cadet configurations allow for tethered control as a backup and can be made in hard-wired versions or simple control pendants Normal configuration is for six toggle switches and an E-Stop. The Cadet is also designed for OEM-use only.
