Ketten Wälder GmbH has introduced its new cromox-branded CRSV roundsling connectors, designed for high-performance lifting applications in industries including defense, manufacturing and cleanroom operations.
Three models — CRSV-08, CRSV-10 and CRSV-13 — offer working load limits of 1.55-ton, 2.45-ton and 3.85-ton, accommodating 30 millimeter-, 40 millimeter- and 50 millimeter-wide synthetic slings. The stainless steel Grade 60 connectors are an evolution of the company’s CVG series, built to connect synthetic slings to oblong-shaped masterlink assemblies.
“Synthetic rigging equipment and roundslings are ubiquitous in many industries where specialised lifting attachments are a prerequisite," said Franz Wälder, CEO at Ketten Wälder GmbH. "The defence sector is just one example, where critical components, like propulsion systems, need to be lifted on vehicle, vessel and weapon system production lines. The CRSV presents a number of natural product advantages — Grade 60 and AISI Duplex material — that suits it directly to cleanroom and demanding environments.”
AISI 318LN Duplex steel provides high ductility and corrosion resistance, while Grade 60 offers higher strength at a lighter weight. Each assembly may use one to eight connectors, selected based on WLL and dimensional charts.
The CRSV line will be displayed at LiftEx 2025 in Liverpool, U.K. Ketten Wälder is stocking the new connectors at facilities in Germany, the U.K. and the U.S., with shipments already underway.
