Kirby-Smith Adds Leadership Personnel
September 3, 2014 - This summer, Glen Townsend, long time VP/GM of Kirby-Smith Machinery Inc. retired. In August, the company split Townsend's job into two regional general manager positions.
David Cooper has been promoted to the role of vice president/general manager, south division. He has been with the company since 2012 and was previously the North Texas area manager. Cooper has nearly 40 years of experience in the equipment industry. He is based out of the Dallas branch.
Jeff Weller will be filling the role of vice president/general manager, north division, and will be based out of the Oklahoma City branch. Weller comes to Kirby-Smith Machinery Inc. from Link-Belt Mid-Atlantic in Mechanicsville, Va., where he has worked for the past 28 years, most recently serving as the General Manager. Weller has 35 years of experience in the equipment industry.
