KSW Microtec Appoints New CFO
April 9, 2009 – RFID supplier KSW Microtec AG, Dresden, Germany, has appointed Dr. Heiko Färber as its new chief financial officer who will play an influential role in driving the company's ongoing growth trends. Dr. Färber, who holds a doctorate in business economics, will be in charge of the company’s financial division, as well as controlling the company's IT, legal, and human resources departments.

The primary goals of the company are to develop its RFID business across a variety of industry sectors, including asset tracking, access control and high security, ePayment, and eTicketing. With this in mind, Dr. Färber will be enhancing the company’s expertise by coordinating the hiring of key personnel to help attain these goals.

Dr. Färber joins the company with more than 10 years experience in financial control, having held CFO roles at Budget car rental and technology innovator QSIL, as well as a senior partnership in a cooperate finance and investment company.
