LGH a Sponsor of Second Annual Lift & Move USA 2016

December 29, 2015 - Lifting Gear Hire has become a Gold Level sponsor of the second annual Lift & Move USA. The SC&RA-organized event promises to enable participants to network with crane, rigging, and specialized transport industry professionals; hear from young people working in the industry; and explore industry career possibilities.

 

Gold sponsors must have donated $5,000 or more to the event, which is open to students (17-24), teachers, parents, former military personnel, SC&RA members, and more. It is designed for those interested in the professions of crane operator, rigger, electrical engineer, field engineer, truck driver, mechanic, welder, lift planner, IT specialist, computer-aided design engineer, sales representative, branch manager, or project manager. All participants will get the chance to operate a real crane and truck simulator, learn about oversize/overweight transportation, and be educated on the proper use of hydraulic gantries and rigging equipment.

 

Hosted by TNT Crane & Rigging in Houston, Lift & Move USA will be held on February 10, 2016. Registration is free to students, parents, high-school teachers, and military veterans.
