Liebherr Group's 2005 Business Year Results

August 15, 2006 • The Liebherr Group increased its turnover in the 2005 business year by $914 million (715 million €) to $6.8 billion (5.3 million €), thus exceeding the previous year's turnover by 15.6 %. Satisfactory growth rates were achieved in all pro­duct divisions and also in all sales regions.

The Liebherr Group began the new business year with more orders in hand than at any previous time in its history. In the first few months of 2006 turnover increased by $682 million (534 million €) or 22.2 % to $3,755 million (2,937 million €) compared with the same period of the previous year. For the complete business year, the Liebherr Group is once again expecting a two-figure percentage increase in turnover. This will be linked to a positive earnings trend.  Job growth is expected to increase as well.
