Liebherr USA Appoints New Divisional Director for Mobile and Crawler Cranes

Liebherr USA has appointed Simon Schuster as divisional director of mobile and crawler cranes, effective November 2025. He succeeds Pierre Bilgeri in the role, based at the company’s U.S. headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.

Schuster will oversee new and used crane sales, customer service and spare parts support for the U.S. market.

“I am honored to have been entrusted with the responsibility of managing the mobile and crawler crane division and look forward to the future with our U.S. customers and employees with a healthy dose of respect and an even greater dose of anticipation,” Schuster said.

Schuster began his career with Liebherr in 2018 as a sales trainee at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH, completing cross-functional training across departments. His program included time in the U.S. and Canada, establishing familiarity with North American customers and operations. He later served as area sales manager for the U.S. and Canada, coordinating engineering and production with regional sales strategies.
