Liebherr Appoints New CFO of Crane Division, New Head of U.S. Market

March 10, 2020 - On April 1, Daniel Pitzer will change positions and become the CFO of Liebherr’s mobile and crawler crane division, moving to the Liebherr headquarters in Ehingen, Germany. His successor in charge of the USA market for the mobile and crawler cranes divisions will be Pierre Bilgeri.

During ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, Liebherr customers will be introduced to Bilgeri (31), who will succeed Pitzer (39). After Pitzer was appointed as the new CFO at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH, his successor was found within Liebherr. Bilgeri already has many years of sales experience in the USA, and has played a role in Liebherr’s positive business development for many years.

Before his appointment as division manager for mobile and crawler cranes in the USA, Bilgeri spent eight years working as sales manager for Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH in markets including the USA, Canada, and southeast Europe. In this position, he was responsible for sales of crawler cranes up to 330 U.S. tons and special construction machines. 

Since Pitzer was appointed to the position of managing director at Liebherr USA Co. in 2015, he has been responsible for sales of mobile and crawler cranes in the U.S. The massive expansion of the sales and service organization was a core part of his work in this position.
