Lifting Gear Hire Adds National Safety Director

May 29, 2007 • Lifting Gear Hire Corp., Bridgeview, Ill., has named Izzy De Jesus its new national director of safety and training. In this new role, he will handle health and safety issues both internally and externally, which includes modifying the company's safety programs to include the most urgent safety trends, internal safety training, customer safety and rigging training, and safety coordination on the road as related to the company's fleet of trucks.

 

De Jesus previously served as the company's inside project coordinator for power plant work. Power plants continue to be a significant part of the company's business, and Lifting Gear Hire's Power Plant Division is undergoing a re-evaluation to determine the best course of action for the future.
